On paper the Rajasthan Royals seems mediocre but when the Royals step on the field, the unity which they exhibit is amazing. Lead by the charismatic Shane Warne, the Rajasthan Royals have a very balanced squad.

Graeme Smith and Mohd Kaif are the experienced lads in the batting line-up. Shane Watson and Yousuf Pathan are classy all-rounders. Sohail Tanveer and Munaf Patel are very accurate with the ball while Shane Warne is the Wizzard of Spin. These players form the backbone of the Rajasthan Royals squad and along with other youngsters in their team, they spell SUCCESS on a T20 pitch!

After a hugely successful IPL season, the Rajasthan Royals are looking forward to conquering the Twenty20 Champions League crown. They will be looking at capitalizing on home conditions and will definitely be one of the favourites to lift the trophy!

After getting mauled by Delhi Daredevils in their first game of the inaugural season of the IPL, no one gave Rajasthan Royals a chance to even qualify for the semi-finals. The team from Jaipur proved all their critics wrong and won 11 of the next 13 matches!

Without any superstars barring Shane Warne, the Rajasthan Royals gelled as a unit and out-performed the other teams. Here is one team which adapted beautifully to the Twenty20 version of the game…

Based out of Jaipur, the Rajasthan Royals was founded in 2008 before the IPL. They were tagged the underdogs before the tournaments even started and no one gave them a chance. The lacked superstars, but that gave the other stars a chance to shine brightly.
